Broadway star who played George Washington in Hamilton

Known for his starring Broadway roles in Hamilton and Thoughts of a Colored Man, as well as for Netflix’s Inventing Anna and Disney+’s Emmy Award-winning Sneakerella, Bryan Terrell Clark inspires audiences to dream big, create a positive impact on others, and discover the best version of themselves.

Bryan has also appeared in numerous television and streaming productions such as the critically acclaimed Netflix drama When They See Us, Queen Sugar and Cherish the Day on OWN, TNT’s Snowpiercer, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist on NBC. Clark’s other television credits include Empire,NCIS: New Orleans and Blue Bloods among others. He can be seen this year in Saint X on Hulu, and Diarra from Detroit on Bet+.

Bryan is well-known for his role as George Washington in Hamilton and as Marvin Gaye in Motown: The Musical. His additional theater credits include Fences, Immediate Family and Sophisticated Ladies and His Girl Friday.

Clark is a songwriter and producer. He has performed with many artists, including Maxwell, Brandy, Ne-Yo, Anita Baker and Michael Bublé. He was a co-writer on Mary J. Blidge's "Irreversible" on the album "My Life II." 

In addition to performing, Clark co-founded inDEFINED, an initiative that inspires and teaches young people to use their voices to erase constrictive labels in our society. He created his production company Artists Park Productions in 2018.  Bryan is also highly in demand for his national speaking engagements with colleges and corporations throughout the United States.

Bryan is the recipient of the Icon Talks 2021 Visionary Award, Family Houston 2021 Pillar of Strength Award, Temple University’s 2019 Gallery of Success Award and the Rutgers University 2018 Voice for Social Justice Award.

Bryan Terrell Clark is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and Temple University.
