Eric Alva will be speaking in the Charlotte, North Carolina area on October 3, and is available for events in the area on October 2 and 4. A groundbreaking spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign, Alva is the first veteran wounded in the Iraq War, and has recently come out against the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. His powerful message encourages hope to end discrimination, and instills confidence in those who have felt hatred and afraid.
