Environmental Speaker Jean-Michel Cousteau Returns to the Amazon

In a new installment of PBS’ Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures, the legendary ocean explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau will “Return to the Amazon,” 25 years after traveling the region with his father, Jacques Cousteau. Airing on local PBS stations on April 2 and April 9 at 8:00 PM EST, the show explores the world’s most powerful river and its incredibly biodiversity. Cousteau and his Ocean Adventures team show audiences how important the region is to the world, and why continued deforestation and human expansion will be devastating to the future.
