Speaker Nate Fick to Address the Democratic National Convention
On Thursday, the last night of the Democratic National Convention and the night Barack Obama accepts his historic nomination for the presidency, US Marine Corps Captain Nate Fick will be a part of the festivities, addressing the crowd of delegates on the Democratic Party’s most important night.
In a night themed, “Change America Can Believe In,” Nate Fick will be one of the “American Voices” represented moments before Barack Obama takes the stage for his acceptance speech.
The author of One Bullet Away, a best-selling memoir of his service in Afghanistan and Iraq, Nate Fick is a gripping leadership speaker and expert on national security policy. A fellow at the Center for New American Intelligence in Washington, DC and the on-air military affairs correspondent for CBS News, Fick demonstrates the challenges that accompany building consensus, the relationship between authority and responsibility, and the importance of ethics in all good decision making.
