Bite into Shark Week with Environmental Speaker Céline Cousteau
Discovery Channel’s Shark Week is back, and Keppler Speakers’ filmmaker and environmental speaker Céline Cousteau provides the grand finale on July 31st at 9:00 PM EST with the premiere of her documentary, Mysteries of the Shark Coast. Cousteau and her team explore the northeastern coast of Australia, working together on the largest shark tagging expedition in Australian history. Cousteau is determined to discover the cause of the mysterious disappearance of sharks in the region.
Cousteau, the granddaughter of legendary ocean explorer Jacques Cousteau and the daughter of marine activist Jean-Michel Cousteau, continues the legacy of her famous family. The international projects coordinator for the Ocean Futures Society, Céline Cousteau is committed to more than just saving the seas and the environment around us. A passionate advocate for intercultural relations, she emphasizes the diversity of Earth’s creatures and cultures. Her incredible storytelling connects the exploration of nature and the preservation of distinct groups of people, showing audiences how we can all peacefully coexist.
