Film co-writer and Emmy Award-winner David Simon calls Generation Kill, “the best military journalism to come out of the Iraq War,” and Evan Wright’s eyewitness account of Marine combat has won him numerous awards, including the L.A. Times Book Award and a 2005 PEN USA Award.

A captivating speaker, Evan Wright takes audiences into battle with him, giving a true reflection of the soldier experience. His incredible speeches draw listeners in, detailing the rigors of war with powerful stories of the men and women who fight. True to life, the stories are sometimes funny, sometimes tearful, and always real.
