Kirk Lippold Back in the Headlines

Commander Kirk Lippold, whose fearless command of the USS Cole after it was attacked by terrorists in 2000, is back in the news after the government of Yemen’s decision to release the terrorist behind the attack.
Commander Kirk Lippold has addressed the media in response to Yemen releasing one of the leaders of the 2000 attack against the USS Cole. The Justice Department and US government are extremely disappointed with Yemen’s decision to release Jamal al-Badawi, one of the FBI’s most wanted terrorists, and have expressed their anger to the Yemeni government.
