About Jamie Clarke

Canadian adventurer and motivational speaker Jamie Clarke's pursuit of Mount Everest is a definitive example of human perseverance. In 1997, after two previous attempts, Clarke reached Everest's peak, but this was only the beginning of his quests. In 1999, he successfully crossed the Arabian Desert, the most dangerous in the world, becoming the first Westerner to do so in 50 years. He has explored over 40 countries and is the author of two books on his adventures, Everest to Arabia and The Power of Passion. Jamie Clarke recently climbed the Carstensz Pyramid in Indonesia, completing his epic quest to climb the famous Seven Summits.
