Josh Linkner personifies creative thinking, entrepreneurship, and disruptive innovation. He founded, built, and sold five tech companies at a combined value of $200+ million. He shares his inventive, actionable ideas with audiences and is one of the top innovation speakers around the globe.

Linkner’s keynote presentations leave a powerful, lasting impact. Earvin “Magic” Johnson says, “When Josh speaks, business improves” and a Ford Motor Company executive declared Josh’s presentation “a journey that will lead to better ideas and breakthrough thinking.”

An agent of change and mentor, Linkner has twice been named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and is a President Barack Obama Champion of Change award recipient.

Harnessing the power of creative disruption is Linkner’s passion and the driving force behind the success of his companies. He infuses that same passion in his firm Detroit Venture Partners, which has advised and/or invested in more than 100 startups. Having spent more than 20 years of his career as a hyper-growth CEO, he specializes in guiding entrepreneurs through the stages of and struggles of volitile growth.

Through all his experience, Linkner has literally written the book on transformation leadership, repeatedly. He is the best-selling author of three books: Disciplined Dreaming: A Proven System to Drive Breakthrough Creativity; The Road to Reinvention: How to Drive Disruption and Accelerate Transformation; and Hacking Innovation: The New Growth Model from the Sinister World of Hackers.

A thought leader on all things tech and innovation, Linkner is a regular columnist for Forbes, The Detroit Free Press, and Inc. Magazine. His work also has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, and on CNN. And proving that creativity and business really do go hand in hand, Linkner is also an accomplished jazz guitarist (going on 40 years). He incorporates music into his keynotes by request, using live jazz as a metaphor for collaborative innovation, and helping business audiences unlock the secrets of some of the world’s most creative geniuses.
