With outstanding accomplishments as a corporate sales executive and as a mountaineer, Susan Ershler is uniquely qualified on the leadership, determination and focus necessary to achieving success in dynamic environments.
During her impressive 23-year corporate career, Ershler held a series of executive positions in the sales divisions of Fortune 500 companies, including FedEx Office, Centurylink Business and Verizon, and earned numerous awards for leading teams to sales records. After meeting her husband, a renowned international mountain guide in 1992, she set her sights on a new type of goal: joining the elite group of climbers who had conquered the Seven Summits, the highest peaks on each continent. With determination and no prior climbing experience, Ershler trained by climbing the 35 stories in her high-rise office building on her lunch hour, and by the end of 1999, the couple had climbed six of the Seven Summits together. After a failed attempt in 2001 to climb the 7th and highest summit—Mt. Everest—they achieved their goal on May 16, 2002 and became the first couple to climb the Seven Summits together.
