Born in South Korea and adopted into a German-Irish family in Philadelphia, Kevin faced bullying and identity struggles from an early age. He set out to challenge stereotypes, eventually becoming a top model in New York and later starring in Netflix’s international hit Bling Empire—the first all-Asian and Asian American reality series—and the documentary The Ugly Model.

Kevin’s journey hasn’t been without setbacks. After battling depression, anxiety, and addiction, he found sobriety and rebuilt his life from rock bottom. Now an entrepreneur, Kevin is the founder of Sans by Taejin Beverage Inc., an Asian-themed alcohol alternative empowering a new generation to embrace health, confidence, and connection without the pressure to drink.
