Mike Walsh
Futurist Mike Walsh shares his provocative view of the future of business – and how corporations can navigate and thrive while dealing with emerging technologies.
Mike has gained a reputation as a futurist who challenges his audience to rethink their concept of technology and how it will disrupt their own lives. Mike customizes his message to each audience’s needs, drawing on wide-ranging research, while providing a blueprint for corporations to re-invent their futures. He also broadens his message to corporate culture and strategies for engaging consumers. While these tumultuous times mean more risk, Mike takes a positive and optimistic approach to dealing with disruption and change. His take: we all have the potential to design our own path, by harnessing the power of technology.
“Great companies are built on culture. Mike Walsh’s prescient vision of the algorithmic company of the future is no robot army of soulless analytics dashboards, but a living, breathing organism—a community of humans who respond to motivation beyond compensation; purpose and impact; decision-making and autonomy; location and collaboration.”
- Brian Halligan, founder & CEO of HubSpot
As the founder of the consulting firm CEO Tomorrow, Mike advises his executive clients to re-imagine their companies for the future. He provides corporate leaders with new ideas that will support and guide their teams in a world transformed by automation, Artificial Intelligence, and algorithms.
Mike travels the world as a consultant, creating case studies and gathering intelligence among scientists, writers, entrepreneurs, and other futurists. His weekly podcast Between Worlds explores these questions about emerging trends with thought-leaders.
Mike’s latest book, The Algorithmic Leader: How to be smart when machines are smarter than you offers guidance on how to reinvent leadership and organizations. He has also written Futuretainment: Yesterday the World Changed, Now It's Your Turn, which alerts readers about how consumer behavior has evolved amid the rise of the Internet, social media, user-generated content, and mobile devices. The book focused on the media and entertainment industry, but Mike has studied how other industries and sectors are adapting to this new era.

They were great! We just sent out our evaluation form, but from what the attendees were saying at the conference, they loved them. I didn’t get a chance to sit through their entire presentations, but they were great speakers and good content.
