Mick Ebeling
Mick Ebeling shares strategies for fostering an environment for big ideas, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, and for overcoming the seemingly impossible, to make way for true innovation.
Mick is the founder and CEO of Not Impossible, an organization that develops creative solutions to real-world problems. Through his foundation, he created EyeWriter, an open source, low-cost, DIY device that enables individuals with paralysis to create art with their eyes. He also co-created the award-winning Project Daniel, the world’s first 3-D printing prosthetic lab and training facility.
In 2014, he was named one of the “Top 50 Most Creative People” by Advertising Age, a #MakeTechHuman Agent of Change by Wired Magazine, and was honored with the 2014 Muhammad Ali Humanitarian of the Year Award. He is the author of “Not Impossible: The Art and Joy of Doing What Couldn’t Be Done.”
With a “Help One. Help Many” philosophy, Mick shares his passion for changing the lives of the most vulnerable around the globe through barrier-breaking, crowd-sourced solutions and greater access to technology. For the benefit of business – and the sake of humanity – he empowers others to see the world through a new lens, so the path to finding creative answers for “impossible” problems is clear.
