Connor Fields

Olympic Gold Medalist, 3-Time Olympian, BMX Legend, and Near-Fatal Crash Survivor Who Embodies the Champion’s Mindset

Connor Fields knows what it means to chase greatness—and what it takes to rebuild when everything changes.

A three-time Olympian, two-time World Champion, and the first American to capture Olympic BMX gold, Connor reached the pinnacle of his sport when he won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. But his story is defined by far more than victory.

At the Tokyo Olympics, while competing as a favorite to medal again, Connor suffered one of the most catastrophic crashes in Olympic history. The life-threatening accident resulted in multiple traumatic brain injuries and abruptly ended his racing career. Faced with losing the identity he had spent a lifetime building, Connor embarked on a new journey—discovering that resilience is not about avoiding setbacks, but about how we respond when life takes an unexpected turn.

Today, Connor shares the hard-earned lessons that came from both victory and heartbreak. With honesty, humor, and humility, he inspires audiences to face challenges with courage, embrace life's unexpected turns, and never lose hope. His story reminds us that setbacks don't define us—and that some of our greatest strengths and purpose are discovered when we choose to keep moving forward.
